Didn’t get the invite to Amber Tamblyn and David Cross’ star-studded nuptials last weekend? Not to worry. Questlove is giving fans an inside look at the cozy wedding in the woods.
The Roots drummer was on hand for the ceremony and reception, where he served as the DJ and (unofficial) photographer. Posting various snapshots to his Instagram account with the hashtag #weddinginthewoods, Questlove showed off everything from the bride’s arrival (by canoe) in a mustard-hued gown, to the guests, to the cake-cutting and dancing.
It was a non-traditional ceremony for the newlyweds, with Cross, 48, donning a sweater vest and white button-down shirt for the party. At the ceremony, he added a jacket, bow tie and boutonniere.
Tamblyn, 29, flaunted her curves in a lace, figure-hugging yellow dress with a plunging neckline. On her feet, she went bare.
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants reunited for the occasion, with Alexis Bledel, America Ferrera and fellow newlywed Blake Lively — who was accompanied by her beau, Ryan Reynolds — all in attendance. Also on the guest list were Amy Poehler, Kristen Schaal and Jason Ritter.
For a sneak peek inside their ceremony, see the photos below. For a more complete look at the party (including one photo titled “interpretive dancing,” which may or may not be the bride and groom’s first dance), click here.
