Jessica Lange, who won an Emmy last month for her 2011 role on American Horror Story, was looking fabulous Saturday (Oct. 13) in a sleek black Max Mara dress with Stuart Wietzman shoes at the AHS: Asylum premiere on the Paramount lot.
And she wasn’t alone.

Sarah Paulsen, who plays a reporter named Lane who tries to get the scoop on a murderer incarcerated in the asylum, was lovely in a lace Reem Acra off-the-shoulder dress with Christian Louboutin shoes and Neil Lane jewelry. FYI, to say that Paulsen’s character doesn’t get along with Lange’s psychotic nun character is putting it mildly.

Miu Miu’s brand ambassador Chloe Sevigny, who plays a nymphomanic asylum patient, certainly livened up the carpet with an unusual Valentino black cocktail dress with one large white pulled sleeve.

As far as setting trends, it’s very likely that Lange’s sexy red lace lingerie worn underneath her nun’s habit (glimpsed in the premiere during a dinner scene with Monsignor Timothy O’Hara (Joseph Fiennes) will inspire countless Halloween costumes this year.
