Cooper says he had no idea American Sniper would turn into the box office and cultural phenomenon that it did, and the actor himself is somewhat isolated from the Hollywood chaos, currently keeping his focus on his starring role as The Elephant Man on Broadway.

Bradley is a nominee for best actor at this year’s Oscars for his portrayal of Chris Kyle in Clint Eastwood‘s American Sniper. He was nominated for best actor once before for Silver Linings Playbook and for best supporting actor for American Hustle.
