Cameron Diaz is 40 and her body definitely doesn’t look it. But then very few Hollywood actresses look their age in this era of personal trainers, nutritionists and pilates programs.
Still, her controversial photos inside the Nov. issue of British Esquire prove that that whatever Diaz is doing is working.

She poses in a slinky leather bustier with thigh highs and a garter belt. She squats facing the camera wearing cut off daisy dukes. She opens her shirt to reveal her boosted breasts and brassier. She does another open-legged squat wearing black lace booties and panties with a ripped white T-shirt. All the photos were shot by controversial photographer Terry Richardson.
But there’s a method to her sultry Esquire madness. It’s called advance marketing. The actress is reportedly penning a fitness book that she told Esquire will engage and empower women. We’re all for that. The book is set for release from Harper Collins next year.
Diaz, who appeared in What To Expect When You’re Expecting, also stars with Brad Pitt and Michael Fassbender in the 2013 thriller The Counselor. And Gambit — penned by Joel and Ethan Coen and co-starring Stanley Tucci, Colin Firth and Alan Rickman — opens in November.
She sounds busy and she also sounds happy. And we are thrilled at the prospect of seeing one of our fashion favorites wearing designer gowns at upcoming red carpets.

“For the first time in my life I’m content,” she revealed to Esquire. “I’m so excited. Getting older is the best part of life. Like, I know more than I’ve ever known. I have gratitude. I know myself better. I feel more capable than ever. And as far as the physicality of it – I feel better at 40 than I did at 25.”
