It’s difficult to imagine anyone who did more for the sexy, all-American jeans-and-tee look than Cindy Crawford in that famed 1992 Pepsi commercial. When she stepped out in a white tank top and denim shorts, forget taking Just One Look, as Doris Troy sings, you couldn’t look away.
So it makes sense that 25 years later, the supermodel is releasing a capsule collection in partnership with L.A. heritage brand RE/DONE consisting of jeans, a tee and a sweatshirt. The collection, appropriately enough, is called “The Crawford.”
The collaboration was conceived in 2016 after Crawford shared a #TBT photo on Instagram of herself wearing a pair of Levi’s 501’s, which she captioned, “Workin‘ that @shopredone look before @shopredone was even born!”

“She popularized the look that is the core of the RE/DONE brand,” said RE/DONE co-founder Sean Barron in a release. He co-founded the line with fellow entrepreneur Jamie Mazur, who happens to be the fiance of another supermodel, Alessandra Ambrosio.
The capsule consists of a straight leg, mid-rise jean created from RE/DONE | Levi’s denim and RE/DONE | Originals denim, as well as long and short-sleeved vintage tees and a 100 percent combed cotton hoodie. Each top features famed imagery of Cindy on the back, shot by Marco Glaviano, and a custom RE/DONE x Cindy graphic on the front.
“The Crawford” collection will be available at on RE/DONE’s website as well as at Barneys, Colette and Ron Herman Japan beginning mid-September ($160-$328). However, to celebrate the launch, select pieces from the capsule will be available to purchase through both Crawford’s and RE/DONE’s Instagram stories for the next 24 hours.
