Donald Trump’s green “Make America Great Again” hats, designed to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, have disappeared from the website for his joint fundraising committee.
The link for the hat, which was on the site earlier this month, now reads, “We’re sorry, but the page you’re looking for could not be found. Go back to our homepage and check out some of our favourite items!” However, the URL still contains “official-make-america-great-again-green-hat.”

The hat’s disappearance comes after several people on social media pointed out its design flaw: The back of the hat featured a four-leaf clover instead of a three-leaf shamrock, which is used as a symbol of Ireland.
The Twittersphere made sure Trump was aware of the mistake, with one user writing, “That’s not a Shamrock! Make America Smart Again #MASA not #MAGA.” One Ireland-based clothing company called Hairy Baby even responded by creating a St. Patrick’s Day shirt that features a four-leaf clover with the words “This Is a Shamrock” and the hashtag #AlternativeFacts.
The original red “Make America Great Again” baseball caps were seen on Trump and his supporters during the presidential campaign. After the election, Trump debuted a new cap that read “USA” in front and “45” on the right side (for 45th president of the United States).
The committee told The Hollywood Reporter that the green hats are “sold out at this time.”
