Former hair-metal hangout the Cat Club on the Sunset Strip has just been reborn as Rock & Reilly’s, a glossy Irish pub with a pressed-tin ceiling, flocked green wallpaper and 14 flat-screen TVs. It’s at the same address where the London Fog once stood — and the Doors once played — in the late 1960s.

A group of industry insiders are among the partners in the venture. They include TV producer Tony DiSanto, Endemol president David Goldberg, acting brothers Geoff and George Stults (7th Heaven), screenwriter Daniel Cutler, former Epic Records chief Charlie Walk and musician Cisco Adler.
Rock & Reilly’s features a private deck and antique photo booth. More than 45 Irish Whiskeys are on the menu, including a private label dubbed Reilly’s Mother’s Milk.
The bar officially opened Nov. 11 and the following night hosted a birthday party for New Girl showrunner Liz Meriwether. Series star Zooey Deschanel stopped by, as well as Mindy Kaling, Aziz Ansari, John Legend, Lauren Conrad and Eli Roth.
