When you’ve got one of The Hollywood Reporter‘s 25 Most Powerful Stylists co-hosting a style soiree, it’s safe to assume that the evening bash will likely turn out the most fashionable folks. As was the case on Thursday night when Elizabeth Stewart, who topped THR’s annual list at No.1 this year, celebrated her latest collaboration with Fendi and The Coveteur at Fendi’s Rodeo Drive boutique.
Stewart, who co-hosted the bash with Elle magazine market director Joann Pailey, arrived in an ombre layered silk-organza dress and ultra-cool PVC mirrored leather heeled sandals, all by Fendi, of course. The celebrity stylist was spotted mingling with guests, sipping a bubbly, while other attendees nibbled on hors d’oeuvres and scrolled through a touchable screen that featured photos of Stewart modeling Fendi pieces shot exclusively by The Coveteur for its website. DJ Michelle Pesce provided the evening’s music, playing sweet tunes from Beyonce‘s “Blow” to Madonna‘s “Everybody” for the star-studded crowd.
Among the famous faces were Palo Alto star Emma Roberts, wearing a pink-and-black Fendi frock, and Fast & Furious 7 actress Jordana Brewster, in a light coral dress by Fendi. Vikings star Alyssa Sutherland (in a Fendi burgundy dress) also arrived to toast the collaboration, chatting with friends near the back of the store, where a rack of mesmerizing coats hung perfectly in place.
While most stars posed for photos in Fendi’s new sunglasses from its spring/summer 2014 collection, there was one star who preferred not to don a pair: Joe Jonas. When asked by a photographer to model the eyewear, the musician instead suggested that he take a snapshot of his lady friend Blanda Eggenschwiler wearing the sunnies instead. Guess he’s not a shady guy.
