Zosia Mamet is once again filling the shoes of Kate Spade’s calamitous short-film character, Miss Adventure.
In the newest episode of the brand’s award-winning digital content series #missadventure, the Girls actress and co-stars stand-up comic Ali Wong and Tony Award-winning actress Sarah Jones take on the roles of three comediennes preparing to co-host a show at 30 Rock’s illustrious Rainbow Room. Titled “Ready or Not,” the second episode of season two recounts the hurdles the trio overcome along the way. As always, each character is clad in shoppable fall ’16 looks from the lifestyle brand, from a bow-tie blouse to cat-eye sunglasses to a pastel pink wool coat.
“With the ‘buy now, wear now’ conversation everyone in fashion is having, we thought more about how we have been doing ‘buy now, wear now’ since season one, episode one — with engaging, shop-able content people just want to watch — similar to a TV series,” said Deborah Lloyd, chief creative officer of Kate Spade New York, in an official statement. “Ultimately, our films are entertainment and it’s always been about making the emphasis on the storytelling: our products are supporting characters that move the story along, integrated seamlessly.”
The branded content series made its debut in 2014, starring Pitch Perfect’s Anna Kendrick.
