On-demand manicures aren’t just for the Kardashians anymore.
Glamsquad, the iPhone app which allows users to book in-home beauty services (think: blowouts and professional contouring), has just added nails to its extensive Los Angeles glam menu. (Nail services were introduced in New York last year.)
Users can now choose from one of three manicure or pedicure packages, including a standard service with a cuticle treatment and polish ($45 mani, $60 pedi), a Shellac manicure ($60) or a spa package with an added massage and callus treatment ($70 mani, $85 pedi).
Top Hollywood stylist Tara Swennen, whose fashionable clientele includes Kristen Stewart and Emily Ratajkowski, has already beta tested the new menu addition. “Being a mother and working constantly makes it difficult to find time to treat myself,” she said. “But with Glamsquad they’re able to come to my home and give a fresh mani/pedi whenever is convenient for me, doing a fabulous and time-efficient job.”
Sessions can be booked both through the app and on Glamsquad’s website seven days a week as early as 6:30 a.m., making them viable options for the summer’s most Instagrammable events — from weddings to Fourth of July barbeques. And because multiple services can be performed in tandem, you can get glammed up and ready to go in about an hour’s time — all without leaving your house (or office, or gym).
Because let’s be honest, it’s definitely too hot to go outside.
