Pomegranate Noir, Red Roses, and Lime Basil and Mandarin are scents synonymous with a well-equipped bathroom (body wash and diffuser) or coveted corner office (luxury 3 wick candle), and now loyal fans of Jo Malone London can find the brand’s best-sellers, plus exclusive goods and services, in a newly opened Beverly Hills Boutique located on Brighton Way.
Though the scents and candles have ubiquitous distribution throughout Los Angeles, this is the brand’s first freestanding space in the area. The interior of the Beverly Hills outpost, their largest location in North America, has the same Georgian townhouse aesthetic and black and cream motif, which are both hallmarks of Jo Malone London.

Punctuating the signature black and cream surroundings and available only at the Beverly Hills location, are colorful bottle caps in bold hues from red, to blossom pink and lime green, that customers can choose from to top their products. The crafty customization doesn’t stop there — special stickers and ribbons are also available to emblazon your own Jo Malone London shopping bag.
With a seemingly endless array of products, the choices can be overwhelming. Thankfully, an interactive Digital Fragrance Combining Cabinet recommends various combinations tailored to the wearer. And after fragrance hunting, customizing a bottle cap and festooning a shopping bag, a weary shopper can indulge in the hand and arm massages available inside the store.

To get a real glimpse at just how expansive the brand and journey to creating the scent empire was, Jo Malone (the actual woman who sold her eponymous scent brand to Estee Lauder in 1999 and remained creative director until 2006 — she is no longer associated with Jo Malone London) has written a new book called Jo Malone: My Story (Simon & Schuster), out Nov. 29.
The tome details her journey, growing up as a dyslexic child in public housing to being diagnosed with breast cancer at just 37-years-old to starting her fragrance and candle business out of her kitchen.
No doubt the new Jo Malone London location will see its fair share of stars; Victoria Beckham, Rosie Huntington-Whitely and Olivia Palermo are all longtime fans, who can easily restock or stop in for holiday gifts.
This month, the brand will also be announcing its next “Jo Malone London Girl,” who will join model Poppy Delevingne in the ranks of the most stylish, and no doubt, best-smelling, brand ambassadors.
