The fur is going to fly on Monday in front of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian’s Calabasas, Calif. retail store, DASH, on Monday.
Models and animal activists Katie Cleary and Joanna Krupa along with social activism site, Care 2, plan to present the reality stars with a petition signed by more than 140,000 people asking them to stop selling fur products in their retail stores and online.

“One of the most influential families in the entertainment industry that could help give animals a voice on a large scale are the Kardashians,” Krupa, who has appeared on Dancing With the Stars and hosted Poland’s Next Top Model, says. “As a fashion-forward family with their clothing line in stores all over the US, they have the power to influence millions of people around the world.”
The Kardashian sisters have had a contentious history with animal activists over the fur issue. Kim was targeted with a PETA billboard in Los Angeles last December. And most recently, she was flour-bombed by an animal activist with ties to PETA at the launch of her new perfume.

Up until recently, Khloe was a supporter of PETA. The reality star took part in PETA’s “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” campaign in 2008 and her decision to pose nude for the organization was captured on a 2009 episode of their E! reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. As a result of her sister’s flour-bombing, Khloe announced that she has pulled her support of the organization but will remain anti-fur.
A Kardashian rep tells THR, “We find it coincidental that Ms. Krupa is staging her protest immediately before her return to TV. However, she can [be] rest assured knowing that there are currently no fur pieces being sold [at] the DASH Calabasas store.”
