As if Karl Lagerfeld isn’t already busy enough with launching a kids collection for his eponymous label and presenting Chanel’s Haute Couture collection this summer, he’ll be adding another project to his schedule. The designer will be presenting a fur-focused “haute fourrure” show for Fendi, for which he is also the creative director, during Paris Couture Fashion Week.

The fashion show, which will be held on July 8, will coincide with Lagerfeld’s 50th anniversary in designing furs and ready-to-wear for the luxury label. “Haute fourrure will set a differentiation between Fendi fur and the rest,” Fendi CEO Pietro Beccari told WWD. “People are willing to invest in a Fendi fur because they know it is produced by the best hands in the market.” Beccari cited that shoppers from Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Russia, the U.S. and the U.K. are among the brand’s top clients.
How Lagerfeld manages to produce all these runway shows, we’ll never know. But what we can always expect is that Kaiser Karl knows how to put on a presentation worth talking about.
