Super model Kate Moss, 39, has launched a new fragrance Lilabelle for the younger generation. The soft, floral, yet fruity scent was inspired by her 9-year-old daughter Lila Grace and is targeted for teens and other women who want to feel young at heart.
Amy Winehouse’s dress — worn on the cover of her Grammy-winning Album, Back to Black — will be auctioned off for charity. The dress is expected to raise $16,000 to $32,000 for the Amy Winehouse Foundation whih helps those with disabilities and addictions. The printed chiffon number will be auctioned off — along with Audrey Hepburn’s 1954 Oscar dress — at the London-based Kerry Taylor Auctions on November 29.
Iggy Pop, the scrawny sunken-faced ’60s rock star, does not seem a likely candidate for a designer fragrance. But there’s the rub. He appears bare-chested — under a sleek black blazer with sequined gold leggings — as the new face of Paco Rabane’s latest fragrance — Black XS. The unisex scent — meant to appeal to rock and roll princesses — will debut in France in January. ‘Mmmm. You smell like Iggy Pop.’ Not something we ever hoped to hear.
How do Victoria’s Secret Angels get so darn skinny? Think again. VS model Chanel Iman is trying to gain weight, more than her recently gained 15 pounds by weight lifting and drinking protein shakes. The models will be strutting their well-toned thighs on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Fashion Show airing on CBS Nov. 29. Also performing on the show: Cee Lo Green and Kanye West, who has been rumored to be dating the young model after being seen with her at the Paris fashion shows. Of course, Chanel denies those silly rumors and says they are just friends. And we believe her!
Editors-in-chief for Conde Nast’s rag mags W, Teen Vogue and Lucky will hit the small screen. W’s Stefano Tonchi, Teen Vogue’s Amy Astley and Lucky’s Brandon Holley will have cameos on a new fashion-centered ABC family show, Jane by Design. The program’s story–about a quirky teenager who is mistaken for an adult and lands a fashion job as an assistant to actress Andie MacDowell will premiere in January 2013.
