A dog can change the way you see fashion, at least for international designer Kelly Wearstler.
The interior and fashion designer is helping homeless animals in Los Angeles with her new pet accessory line, which she unveiled during a shopping and pet adoption event at her flagship boutique in West Hollywood on Tuesday night.
The brass dog bones and chic dog tags, priced between $75 and $198, are designed to raise awareness and funds for No-Kill Los Angeles, a Best Friends Animal Society initiative that prevents the killing of healthy and treatable animals.

NKLA brought along six of its furry four-legged friends to cozy up to guests, while Wearstler let her own family dog, Rigby, off the leash. Two NKLA dogs were adopted by the night’s end.
Actresses Lindsay Pulsipher (The Beast) and Julie Marie Berman (General Hospital) were among the celebrities who posed with the pups. Guests sipped cocktails and margaritas, and enjoyed hors d’oeuvres during the two-hour benefit.
The accessories are available exclusively at Wearstler’s Melrose Avenue boutique. She will donate 25 percent of proceeds from the pet accessories to NKLA through Dec. 5.
OKL will donate 100 percent of proceeds from its specially designed wrapping paper to Best Friends Animal Society.
Casamigos Tequila, Peroni and Rover sponsored the event.
