Kim Kardashian Sets Record Straight Over Yeezy Presentation

Kim Kardashian-West is setting the record straight. 

After Yeezy Mafia, a verified Twitter account reportedly made up of “insiders” with knowledge of Kanye West’s apparel brand of the same name, reported that season 7 would not include any apparel or accessories, Mrs. West responded in a tweet of her own that this is not the case. 

Replying to the since-deleted Yeezy Mafia tweet, Kardashian wrote that season 7 “will be online soon.” (Yeezy did not return The Hollywood Reporter‘s request for confirmation.)

Kardashian has already posted photos of herself wearing season 7 collection on a recent trip to Japan, and reiterated as much in her tweet.

Yeezy Mafia’s original tweet also stated that the reason the latest collection would only include shoes, not apparel or accessories, was because “Kanye West couldn’t do what he wanted to achieve with this collection.” The account wrote that buyers were informed of this after being lured to an “empty” showroom with the promise of catching a glimpse of the new apparel. 

“Yeezy does not play by fashion rules,” retorted Kardashian of the presentation, adding, “The show room was strictly shoes & always intended for that.”

After refuting the original information, Kardashian came for Yeezy Mafia yet again. 

“How can a verified account represent Yeezy with false information,” she wrote in another reply to the deleted Yeezy Mafia tweet. “You do NOT work for Yeezy and NOT affiliated.”
