Can’t keep up with what’s been going on in the social media world? Fret not. Here, a gathering of what stars, artists and brands have been up to this week on social media.
Meet the Famous Vons Mom
Announced this Thursday, Kirsten Dunst, 35, is getting a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018. The Beguiled actress relayed the news to her Instagram followers through a screenshot of a text to her mother, Inez Rupprecht. “My mom’s always at Vons,” captioned Dunst, referring to the California grocery-store chain, where her mother said she was shopping and crying.

Diddy vs. Kendall Continues
Sean “Diddy” Combs can’t stop (and won’t stop) throwing shade at Kendall Jenner. After this year’s Met Gala, Diddy posted a group photo celebrating #BlackExcellence, a hashtag he often uses. A Twitter user was quick to point out that Kendall and Kylie Jenner were cropped out of the photo. Some followers thought this was rude to the Jenner sisters, and Diddy offered an apology on Instagram after the fact. On Wednesday of this week, Diddy posted a photo-booth GIF of he and Kendall at the afterparty for the premiere of Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop, but he confused Kendall and her sister Kylie.

Queen Sugar Rules
Oprah’s favorite Pinkberry flavor, Meyer Lemon, is back. In May, Oprah tweeted at Pinkberry her disappointment that the limited-edition flavor had been discontinued. Pinkberry came to the rescue, making it “springtime all the time” for Oprah at her local Pinkberry. At a party to celebrate the series Queen Sugar with her OWN team, Oprah celebrated that #PinkberryGate is over and reminded Pinkberry how upset she was that her local Pinkberry “dealership” discontinued the flavor. All good now. “This is when you know you’ve made it in life, when Pinkberry does a ‘Queen Sugar swirl,’ ” exclaimed Oprah. When you’re the queen, you get what you want.
@Pinkberry can this be true???You’ve STOPPED making Lemon. That’s what I was just told at my local Pinkberry. WHY?

Who’s the Boss Now?
Actress Alyssa Milano instructed her Twitter followers to come in for a group hug, which elicited a response from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Using a winky-face emoji, Cruz creeped out social media users by replying, “We all need a hug!” Milano responded that Cruz wasn’t invited, but later tweeted that she would love to chat with the senator. To be continued …
