Hot off its men’s swimwear collaboration with The Rolling Stones in May, Vilebrequin is back with another partnership — this time with buzzy L.A. artist Alex Israel.
The French swimwear brand has collaborated with the Hollywood pop artist on limited-edition swim trunks featuring Israel’s colorful take on beach waves. Because nothing defines the SoCal lifestyle more than surf and sun, right?
The shorts, now available at vilebrequin.com, retail for $280 for men’s and $135 for boys. But they can be worn by the ladies, too.
Israel is a favorite with the entertainment industry (Michael Ovitz, Steven Roth and A-list manager David Unger are supporters), but also no stranger to the fashion scene. In addition to being pals with model and actress China Chow, he also founded Freeway Eyewear in 2010, a luxury sunglasses line that’s been worn by Jessica Biel, Justin Theroux and Travis Barker.
Perhaps his fans will consider pairing his shades with his shorts?
