Lance Bass is making a political statement on the MTV VMAs red carpet.
The former NYSNC bandmember stepped out wearing a blue bomber jacket with the back reading, “Love Trumps Hate,” clearly a jab toward Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. The custom outerwear was created by Hollywood-based designer Rey Ortiz. Bass styled the look with a skinny leather hardware tie, also designed by Ortiz.
Bass has been vocal about his support for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, having attending the DNC in July.
“The #VMA red carpet has always been a great place to make a statement,” Bass captioned on Instagram. “Thank you @fashionbyreyortiz for helping me voice mine!”
