Moschino’s Shoppable Capsule Collection Is So Hot  [Moschino]
Following the success of last season’s “see now, buy now” capsule collection — which sold out in minutes — Moschino unveiled its second capsule collection hot off the fall 2016 runway. Jeremy Scott drew less-than-subtle inspiration from cigarettes and matches for the aptly titled #ItsLit line, which is now available for sale on the brand’s site. The collection, which ranges in price from $75 for a phone case to $850 for a leather bag, includes ready-to-wear, jewelry and accessories.

Lands’ End Apologizes for Gloria Steinem Feature [Jezebel]
Lands End is apologizing to its customers for featuring an interview with influential feminist figure Gloria Steinem in its spring catalog. According to the company’s official statement, some customers were offended by Steinem’s feature because they saw it as the retailer taking a political and religious stance. The company has also removed the option to donate to the ERA Coalition’s Fund for Women’s Equality from its website.

Kohl’s Closes 18 Stores [CNBC]
Kohl’s CEO Kevin Mansell revealed Thursday that for the first time in the retailer’s 52-year-history, it would be closing multiple stores at the same time. Following its fourth-quarter fiscal earnings report, the company made the decision to shutter 18 stores nationwide, choosing the locations based on sales projections, overhead costs and overlap with other nearby stores.

Hugo Boss CEO Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, who is responsible for bringing Jason Wu onboard in 2013, is stepping down on Feb. 29 after eight years at the helm of the German fashion house. The decision comes two days after the company lowered its earnings forecast for 2016 due to struggling sales in both the U.S. and China. Bernd Hake, the current senior vp of Europe, Middle East, Africa and India will assume Lahrs‘ retail and sales duties beginning March 1, while the company actively searches for Lahrs‘ replacement.
