Score another for celebrity spawn! Redken’s newest brand muse is none other than actress/model Lizzy Jagger, the eldest daughter of The Rolling Stones’ legendary singer Mick Jagger and ‘70s supermodel Jerry Hall, who just married Rupert Murdoch. Coincidentally, she’s majorly channeling her mom in images released by the haircare juggernaut.
As of August, Lizzy — whose sister Georgia May Jagger is a face of Rimmel London cosmetics — is set to join a crew of fellow models, Redken muses and trend creators including Suki Waterhouse, Mariacarla Boscono and Crystal Renn. (The brand also has star stylist Guido Palau and celeb colorist — to Emma Stone and Lily Aldridge — Tracey Cunningham on its roster.) She and her vibrant red hair will represent two forthcoming launches, Heatcure Professional Service and the Heat Styling collection, in both print and digital campaigns this fall.
This contract is far from the 32-year-old’s first. She made her runway debut at Thierry Mugler in 1998, alongside her mom, and also has starred in campaigns for Lancome’s LCM range, Mango, and Marks and Spencer. According to Shane Wolf, Redken 5th Avenue global general manager, “Lizzy’s signature, striking red hair and unique style epitomize the Redken spirit. She represents a modern approach to beauty that’s confident and enviable.”
