Vanity Fair is kicking off their 13th installment of what they call “Campaign Hollywood” next week — a charity-focused suite of events — and since L’Oreal is one of the big sponsor (Chrysler is the other), there’s a little more glamour involved than even the usual Hollywood Oscar week glitz-krieg.
VIP guests will be shuttled around in new Chryslers and Fiats, and L’Oreal will be touching up the A-list in a variety of locales. They will also stock all the 300 rooms of the Roosevelt Hotel, ground zero for Campaign Hollywood, with product.
Here’s a look at the much-packed sched, which — given the pull of VF’s longstanding Oscar night party, which happens again this year at the Sunset Tower hotel — will definitely be filled with celebs, execs, agents, studio people and A-listers across the board:
Monday Feb. 20: Vanity Fair’s West Coast Editor Krista Smith and Shailene Woodley and Juicy Couture are doing a 20th anniversary of the VF Vanities section and it’s photos at Siren Studios. Proceeds will go to a charity called All It Takes, founded by Shailene and her mother Lori Woodley. Will Mr. Clooney show up? We can only hope.
Tuesday Feb. 21: VF will host with Montblanc and VF’s L.A. contributing editor Wendy Stark Morrissey a cocktail party at the Hotel Bel-Air to launch Mont Blanc’s new Princess Grace jewelry collection. This one will benefit the Princess Grace Foundation U.S.
Wednesday Feb. 22: VF and impeccable Italian mens’ clothing company Zegna will host a dinner at the Chateau Marmont with Colin and Livia Firth, and Anna Zegna. This one benefits Oxfam America and Livia Firth’s Green Carpet Challenge, which has approached top designers to use eco-friendly fashions – and we’ve been seeing those gowns throughout the month, including the Valentino on Viola Davis at the BAFTA’s.
Thursday Feb. 23: VF and Chrysler will host a dinner at Beso with Eva Longoria (she owns it) for The Eva Longoria Foundation.
Friday Feb. 24: VF and Richard Mille will host a cocktail party honoring Martin Scorsese at Hotel Bel Air, in support of the Film Foundation, which restores motion pictures. We can only imagine the heavy hitters who will show up at this one.
Saturday Feb. 25: Fiat, VF and L’Oreal present D.J. Night at the former space of Golden Bridge Yoga benefitting The Pablove Foundation, which funds pediatric cancer research.
