Among the sea of French actresses, German socialites and Korean magazine editors at Mugler’s fall 2015 runway show at Paris’ Grand Palais on Saturday, one familiar L.A.-based face was sitting front and center: stylist and Fashion Police host Brad Goreski. The personality has been busy as of late, especially amid his show’s swirling Giuliana Rancic/ Zendaya hair comment controversy that saw co-host Kelly Osbourne walk out on the job.
Despite the obvious recent tension, there wasn’t a shred of stress on Goreski’s face as British designer David Koma‘s Mugler-branded grommet-festooned mini dresses, mirror-bordered blazers and high-slit sequin gowns adorned the likes of Georgia May Jagger, Jessica Stam and Karlie Kloss on the catwalk.

“I’m actually here launching Samsung’s new phone, the S6,” he told Pret-a-Reporter right before the show began. When we mentioned that we’re Apple gals ourselves, the fashion personality wrinkled his nose. “But have you seen the camera on these things? The S6 has a selfie camera! Does anything else really matter?”
Clearly not to the Instagram-obsessed crowd at Mugler’s show, which marked Koma’s third collection for the rebooted, ’80s powersuit purveyor since taking over the creative reins from Nicola Formichetti in 2013.

While the aforementioned beautiful people and Virginie Courtin-Clarins — the brand’s chic, 28-year-old director of development and communications and Clarins Groupe (aka Mugler’s owner) heiress — snapped away, Goreski sat quietly at his seat, thinking about the next phase of his Paris Fashion Week whirlwind (which, we learned, has so far included stops at Dior and Balmain — where he liked the dresses).
“After this I’m going to spend some time with my fiancee. We haven’t seen each other in two months!” he said of his longtime, London-based love Gary Janetti. The couple announced their engagement in December.

“It’s going to be like Sex and the City,” he said, referencing that time Carrie Bradshaw took a trip to the City of Lights and both romance and madness ensued. “Except I won’t end up crying in a crumpled Versace Atelier gown.”
We certainly hope not.
