Chanel chartered private jets (and a fleet of black SUVs) to bring 200 guests to Vegas for the unveiling of its Numéros Privés: A Journey Through the World of Chanel exhibition at the Wynn Las Vegas (open January 20 through 28). The 10-room space included golden bird cages filled with glitzy diamond watches and jewels, whimsical Chanel dolls (designed by Karl Lagerfeld), a recreation of Coco Chanel’s apartment at 31 Rue Cambon with haute couture gowns and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the brand’s iconic 2.55 handbag.

VIPs lined up for the chance to play the Chanel claw arcade game — the machines were packed with Chanel makeup, perfume and a stunning Camelia diamond necklace for one lucky winner. Chanel-clad guests Jessica Alba (with Cash Warren), Diane Kruger, Lily Collins and Gia Coppola started the evening with sparkling champagne and cocktails inside the exhibit, followed by a private sit down dinner with a Chinese New Year-themed menu of dim sum, beef short ribs, Cantonese sea bass, lobster, orange chicken and string beans. Guests listened to Alexa Chung deejaying while dining and later hit the dance floor for a special performance by Irish rockabilly singer Imelda May. Stylist Rachel Zoe tweeted, “Only Chanel can do Vegas like tonight…way fun!”
