Can’t keep up with what’s been going on in the social media world? Fret not. Here, a gathering of what stars, artists and brands have been up to this week on social media.
GP’s Eau de Sushi
Goop enjoyed the sweet smell of success after the launch of Edition 01 – Winter, the brand’s first fragrance. Announced last night on social media, Edition 02 – Shiso ($72-$162) is now available for sale on Goop.com. It’s described as “a perfume of cool air, pale sun, new life unfurling on the forest floor,” but one has to wonder about the name; what is shiso? Better Homes and Gardens notes that the plant is great for adding color to garden-bed borders and has some varieties that can be eaten. Shiso can be added to simple syrup for cocktails and is commonly used in sushi. Without smelling Edition 02 in fragrance ($162) or candle ($72) form, but knowing that seaweed, rice-wine vinegar and fatty fish are the most identifiable flavors in sushi, fans are just going to have to place their faith in Gwyneth Paltrow on this one.
Hoppy Easter
Reese Witherspoon, Instagram’s patron saint of all things adorable, is very excited for Easter this year, judging by her salute to the holiday in funny bunny regalia. Check out Witherspoon’s Easter Dressing collection for Draper James ($15-$250) by hopping over to her site. The pieces can be mixed and matched all season long, not just for the holiday.
Let the Games Begin
Celebrities started the party early last night in Indio, Calif., arriving in Palm Springs via helicopter and private plane to be whisked away to their architectural-porn homes for a weekend of debauchery. Stay tuned right here for the latest Coachella party reports, photos and festival style.
