Sinead O’Connor Reunites With Fourth Husband Barry Herridge

Sinead O’Connor‘s marriage to therapist Barry Herridge is back on, little more than a week after she called off the brief 16-day union.

Given to online oversharing, O’Connor announced on her Twitter page Tuesday night that she and Herridge had reunited.

“Yay!!! we decided to be boyfriend and girlfriend again an stay married but we did rush so we gonna return to b friend g friend,” she posted, grammatical errors and all.

O’Connor, 45, married Herridge in a kitschy Dec. 8 Las Vegas ceremony but the newlywedded bliss quickly wore off: she confirmed a breakup on her official website the day after Christmas.

“Within three hours of the ceremony being over the marriage was kyboshed by the behaviour of certain people in my husband’s life,” she wrote. “And also by a bit of a wild ride I took us on looking for a bit of a smoke of weed for me wedding night as I don’t drink.”

This was — nay, still is — O’Connor’s fourth marriage. She’d previously wed music producer John Reynolds, journalist Nicholas Sommerlad and musician Steve Cooney — with whom she split with in April.

O’Connor has four children.
