Diane von Furstenberg Looking to Sell Equity Stake in Company [WWD]
Diane von Furstenberg has plans to hire Michael Dyens & Co. to assist her in selling an equity stake in her company. “The time has come for me to bring in management that the company deserves,” von Furstenberg told WWD. She added however, that there is no urgency to move forward. The company has been streamlining in recent years to keep up with the changing industry. The designer adds she hopes “to find an investor with expertise in order to attract the leadership this brand deserves to be disruptive in the digital world and create a real legacy.” The company has been without a CEO since November 2016.
Clare Waight Keller’s Second Givenchy Campaign Is Here [Instagram]
Clare Waight Keller’s second campaign as the creative director of Givenchy has arrived, and like the first installment, this one also has a cat cameo. The campaign was filmed by Theo Sion at a private manor in Kent, England, and features the pre-fall 2018 collection. “The spirit of what I wanted to convey is the kind of crossover silhouette between the boys and the girls that I do,” said Keller. “This is the story of how they interact, how they can live side by side. A portrait of the new Givenchy family.”

J. Crew is shuttering its 21-year-old Soho flagship store as the company continues to struggle. In the most recent quarter, same-store sales for the brand have fallen 12 percent; the news comes as J. Crew moves forward with the decision to shutter 50 underperforming stores across the country.

The third product in Kylie Cosmetics’ new Silver Series has arrived. After revealing lipsticks and 30 shades of concealer on Instagram, Kylie Jenner’s makeup label unveiled a $360 brush kit. Prices of individual brushes range from $18 to $48. The kit will be available Dec. 13.
