Halima Aden Covers Vogue Arabia [Vogue Arabia]
Halima Aden, the first hijab-wearing model to be signed to a major agency and walk the international runways, has landed her very first Vogue cover for Vogue Arabia. The model was photographed by Greg Kadel and styled by Paul Cavaco for the June issue. The 19-year-old model also shared a cover spot with Paris Jackson for CR Fashion Book, and has walked in shows for Yeezy, Max Mara and Alberta Ferretti. Vogue launched its Arabian edition at the end of last year, with Gigi Hadid landing the very first cover in March.
Sofia Coppola Directs Online Campaign Video for Cartier [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
To celebrate the relaunch of Cartier’s Panthere de Cartier watch, which first debuted in 1983, the jewelry brand tapped Sofia Coppola to direct a short film campaign, citing her vision of the ‘80s and her female perspective as attractive characteristics. Said Coppola of the film, set to Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love,” “When the Panthere watch came out in 1983, there were so many great movies, and I love the stars of that time. I remember the glamorous kind of women who wore a Panthère watch. It was just a stylish time to remember and to propose a modern interpretation of it.”

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit has teamed with Raj Swim on a collection of swimsuits and activewear set to debut in early 2018 in conjunction with the annual issue. “This is a natural evolution for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, which has long been considered the authority on swim style,” Bruce Gersh, senior vp, strategy and business development, Time Inc., said in a release. The multiyear partnership will be “designed to reach all generations, body types and personalities for a new era of swim and active lifestyles.”

The Mummy Teams With Saks Fifth Avenue on Window Display [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Manhattan’s flagship Saks Fifth Avenue location will get the VIP treatment in honor of the latest Universal pic, The Mummy, starring Tom Cruise. In addition to a Mummy-themed window display, stars Courtney B. Vance and Sofia Boutella will be at the store on Wednesday alongside director Alex Kurtzman. The film hits theaters June 9.
