Kate Moss’ Little Sister Lottie Lands First Vogue Cover [Vogue Paris]
Kate Moss’ 18-year-old little sister Lottie landed the May cover of Vogue Paris, marking her second magazine cover to date. The up-and-comer, who had a feature in American Vogue alongside Bella Hadid and Kylie Jenner, was photographed alongside Lucky Blue Smith by Mario Testino for the spot.
Sarah Hyland Is Candies New Creative Director [People Style Watch]
Modern Family‘s Sarah Hyland has been named Candies’ first-ever creative director. In her new role, the 25-year-old will not only star in the retailer’s campaigns (which have starred Vanessa Hudgens and Britney Spears in the past) but style them as well. Beginning with the spring 2017 collection, Hyland will also assist the design team to add her own personal touch to the brand.

Shopping on Facebook is about to get even easier. The social media platform revealed a new “conversational commerce” feature on Facebook messenger that allows customers to “talk” with bots, who help them narrow down exactly what they’re looking for based on product type and price range. The new feature already has a handful of retail partners including Spring and Everlane, but any retailer is welcome to create their own bot.
American Apparel Considers Outsourcing [L.A. Times]
As part of its turnaround efforts, American Apparel revealed on Tuesday that the company has laid off 500 employees, and may start making clothing outside of Los Angeles to cut costs. CEO Paula Schneider blamed layoffs on the new production process, which will include making fewer garments throughout the year. If manufacturing does move outside of L.A., Schneider stresses that apparel will still be made in the U.S.
Zac Efron’s Girlfriend, Sami Miro, Launches Clothing Line [Racked]
Model Sami Miro, a.k.a. Zac Efron’s girlfriend, has launched a new clothing line called Sami Miro Vintage. The collection features sheer body suits ($210) and choker necklaces ($80) with strategically placed clothing scraps — mostly vintage denim — that solve “the whole nipple situation.” Miro was bitten by the design bug after creating Efron’s MTV Movie Awards outfit.
