Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath is getting into the clothing business with the debut of her APPAREL 001 collection, which features bomber jackets, hoodies, and short- and long-sleeve shirts covered in prints of the Egyptian Eye. The eight-piece collection, priced from $60 to $400, drops Thursday on patmcgrath.com and at Dover Street Market New York from Thursday to Dec. 13. Given how quickly her beauty products sell out, better be prepared for the launch of her first apparel collection.
Kylie Cosmetics Debuts New Lipsticks for the Holidays [Harper’s Bazaar]
After launching must-have lip kits and glosses, Kylie Jenner is now introducing lipsticks to her Kylie Cosmetics line. The “Silver Series” collection comes in 20 different shades, from a soft pink to a bold berry. Just in time for the holidays, the lipsticks will be available Dec. 13.
Balenciaga to Combine Men’s and Women’s Collections on Fall 2018 Runway [WWD]
Balenciaga will be presenting its men’s and women’s collections together on the spring 2018 runway during Paris Fashion Week in March. The luxury fashion house joins Kering-owned sister labels Gucci and Yves Saint Lauren in going co-ed. Increasingly, many brands, including Burberry, Calvin Klein and Tom Ford, are moving toward combined presentations.
Delpozo Teams With Stylebop on Capsule Collection [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Spanish fashion house Delpozo has teamed with stylebop.com on a capsule collection, launching Wednesday. The party-ready range offers a strapless navy midi with pale pink details, a v-neck gown with layers of tulle in navy and pink, a mini skirt with an oversize bow and a crisp cotton poplin top. Delpozo Creative director Josep Font also designed ballet flats and clutches with architectural bows to pair with his signature sculptural silhouettes. Said Font: “I wanted to translate the lightness of tulle and the crisp poplin in timeless color hues of navy blue and pale pink. The essence of Delpozo is femininity, freshness and modernity, and each piece of this capsule represents a bit of each.” Prices range from $405 to $3,350.
