Prada is setting sail for New York. The Italian fashion house has chosen the Big Apple as the next location for its cruise 2019 presentation on May 4. However, the specifics regarding the exact venue have not yet been revealed. Prada held its first cruise presentation last year in Milan.
Designer Simon Porte Jacquemus Will Launch Men’s Line [WWD]
Simon Porte Jacquemus, the buzzy designer behind Beyonce-approved label Jacquemus, is about to make his first foray into menswear. The 28-year-old, who has been teasing a new venture on social media with the hashtag “#newjob,” revealed the plans on Monday ahead of Paris Fashion Week. In a statement to WWD, the designer called the project a personal one: “I started to imagine the man when last year I fell in love.”

The collection, made in Los Angeles with Italian fabrics, is priced between $70 and $145 and includes bikinis and one-pieces for the “coastal chic and city cool girl.” Said Minkoff in a release: “I love everything about offering my on-the-go girl a gorgeous piece of swim that evokes a free-spirited style while remaining true to our high quality standards — one she can always count on each time she needs a new suit for her upcoming travels.”

Goop Is Launching Its First Podcast Next Week [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand is coming for your ears. Goop — which now includes branded products, an annual wellness conference and a Conde Nast-published print magazine, in addition to the humming blog which started it all — is launching its first podcast on March 8. The show will feature Paltrow in conversation with Goop editors and high-profile guests and will cover travel, wellness, beauty and Goop’s other verticals, as well as of-the-moment subjects like the #MeToo movement and the “triggering nature of new ideas.”
