Penelope Cruz Offers Gilmpse of Donatella Versace Costume [Instagram]
From the looks of Penelope Cruz’s latest Instagram, the costume department on Versace: American Crime Story has done a remarkable job transforming the Spanish actress into the instantly recognizable fashion designer Donatella Versace. Cruz revealed her platinum blonde hair and bronzey physique Monday in an Instagram post. Creator Ryan Murphy also posted a photo of Max Greenfield and Darren Criss, who will play Gianni Versace’s killer, Andrew Cunanan, in ‘90s-era costumes.

ASOS Warehouse Fire Destroys $8 Million Worth of Inventory [Reuters]
More than $8 million worth of stock was destroyed at an ASOS warehouse outside Berlin following a fire early Tuesday morning. There were no injuries in the fire, the cause of which has not yet been released. The company is insured for the loss of stock — which accounted for more 2 million of the warehouse’s 7 million pieces — and business lost.
Nordstrom Is Sponsoring the Tony Awards Red Carpet [Pret-a-Reporter Inbox]
For the third year in a row, Nordstrom has signed on as an official sponsor of the Tony Awards red carpet, which is taking place this year on June 11. Said Scott Meden, executive vp and chief marketing officer at Nordstrom, “Nordstrom has been a longtime supporter of the arts and we’re proud to be the official red carpet sponsor of this beloved event for the third year, especially as we lead up to our Manhattan Flagship store opening on Broadway and 57th.” The red carpet, which will see stars like Bette Midler, Josh Groban and show host Kevin Spacey, will be broadcast live on the Tony Awards website as well as Nordstrom’s website.
Rue 21 Has Filed for Bankruptcy [CNBC]
Rue 21 is the latest teen retailer to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, joining the company of Wet Seal and BCBG Max Azria. Like its competitors, Rue 21 is now going through a restructuring process that includes the closure of several stores and a shift in focus toward e-commerce.
