Fashion fanatics love a good collab, especially when it’s saucy.
Top fashion brands have been teaming up with luxe liquor companies for years — Jean Paul Gaultier and Absolut, Lalique and Patron, Public School & Moet — giving the trend a long shelf life.
The latest stylish sipping partnership? Italian liqueur Disaronno has aligned with fashion house Missoni to create a limited-edition bottle in celebration of the amaretto-flavored alcohol brand’s Icon project. The package design draws inspiration from the house’s iconic zigzag print. The bottle is draped in a variation of the contrasting design made up of orange, yellow and green hues, ($29.99) and is also available in six mini bottles, packaged in sets of three (10.99/per pack).
After four years of success, Disaronno’s new iteration of the Icon project will continue to support the charity, Fashion 4 Development, sponsored by the United Nations; past partnerships include Moschino, Versace, Roberto Cavalli and Etro. A portion of the proceeds from the Disaronno Missoni collection will be donated to humanitarian efforts in Africa.
Also, sure to be on many-a-chic-girl’s Christmas list is the limited-edition Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame by Charlotte Olympia gift box. It was created in celebration of inspirational women such as the bubbly’s namesake, Barbe Ponsardin, who was widowed at 27, took over her late husband’s champagne business and became known as, “La Grande Dame de la Champagne.”
The gift box is sleek in design and sprinkled with the playful touches Olympia is known for, like gold clasp lettering and a luxe leopard print interior — the packaging takes its cue from the London-based accessory designer’s best-selling Vanina clutch.
