Tommy Hilfiger and Gigi Hadid are going across the pond for their next runway show.
The designer announced Thursday that the forthcoming Tommy x Gigi extravaganza, dubbed “TOMMYNOW,” will close London Fashion Week on Sept. 19. The event will be held at the iconic Roundhouse music venue, which was initially built as a turntable engine shed in 1846. It became a concert space in the late ‘60s, with performances from The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.
“My vision for TOMMYNOW was to create a global platform that could bring our shows to audiences around the globe like a rock-and-roll world tour,” Hilfiger said in a statement. “It’s about celebrating the connection between fashion and pop culture with experiences, performances and inspiring interactions that are designed around our consumers. We look forward to celebrating the rebellious spirit and star-studded glamour of rock-and-roll in London for fall 2017.”
The duo’s first collab was shown in New York City at “Tommy Pier” for fall 2016 and then in Los Angeles at “TOMMYLAND“ for spring 2017.
Not only will the TOMMYNOW show include the designer’s fall 2017 womenswear offerings and the third Tommy x Gigi collection, there will also be men’s looks from Hilfiger Edition — the first time since 2010 that the brand’s men’s and women’s collections have been shown together on the runway. Like the previous two seasons, all the runway looks will be available to purchase immediately after the show at Tommy Hilfiger stores and tommy.com.
After the Tommy x Gigi fall 2017 collection, the pair will partner on the collab for one more season.
