STORY: Fox Film Executive Phil Provenzale Dies at 61
DEATHS
Phil Provenzale, a veteran theatrical services executive at 20th Century Fox International, died Aug. 1 of cancer at City of Hope in Duarte, Calif. He was 61.
John Palmer, who served as the news anchor on Today and covered the White House during his 40-year NBC News career, died Aug. 3 at age 77.
Michael Ansara, who played Klingon villain Kang on three Star Trek television series, died July 31 at his home in Calabasas, Calif., from Alzheimer’s. He was 91.
