This English-language drama from Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino, stars Michael Caine as a retired orchestra conductor who receives an invitation to perform for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. Harvey Keitel, Jane Fonda and Paul Dano co-star. Youth is Sorrentino's sixth competition film, after The Consequences of Love (2004), The Family Friend (2006), Il Divo (which won the jury prize in 2008), This Must Be the Place (2011) and The Great Beauty (2013).
