The nominees for the 2018 Streamy Awards have been revealed.
The annual awards show, which honors the best in online video, this year has recognized a range of traditional and digital talent through its nominations.
Vlogger David Dobrik scored a leading six noms, including for creator of the year, a category in which the winner is chosen by the audience. Other nominees who received multiple mentions include Casey Neistat, Emma Chamberlain, Shane Dawson and Ninja. The most-nominated shows are Joey Graceffa's Escape the Night, with five nods, and DeStorm Power's Caught, with four.
In addition to the digital-first stars, comedian Kevin Hart, basketball player Kevin Durant and actress Shay Mitchell were also nominated.
This year's show will feature the first-ever dog of the year, sponsored by Milk-Bone.
After airing live on Twitter last year, the Streamy Awards will return to YouTube, which has also come on board as a presenting sponsor of the show. YouTube plans to stream the kudocast live around the world.
The 8th annual Streamy Awards, which are produced by Tubefilter and Dick Clark Productions, will take place Monday, Oct. 22, at 9 p.m. ET at the Beverly Hilton. Dick Clark Productions is owned by Valence Media, which is also the parent company of The Hollywood Reporter.
