The complete list of nominations for the Casting Society of America’s 34th annual Artios Awards has been announced.
The awards will be held with simultaneous ceremonies at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles and Stage 48 in New York City on Jan. 31. The hosts are actor-writers June Diane Raphael (Grace and Frankie and the upcoming Flarsky) and Paul Scheer (Black Monday, Veep, Future Man, The Disaster Artist).
This year’s honorees include Laura Dern, who will receive the Lynn Stalmaster Award, and Tina Fey and Jeff Raymond, who will receive the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award.
Glee and American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy will present the Hoyt Bowers Award to the casting team of Ulrich Dawson and Kritzer. The Hoyt Bowers Award, given for excellence in casting, honors the recipients’ body of work and their outstanding contribution to the casting profession.
Casting directors Mike Fenton, Joe Reich and Al Onorato will also receive honorary awards.
Game of Thrones, Atlanta and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are among the television nominees, which the Casting Society of America previously announced in Sept. 2018.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will be competing in the television pilot and first season — comedy category, while Atlanta returns to the series comedy bracket. Game of Thrones is back in the series drama race, along with The Americans, The Handmaid's Tale, This Is Us and The Crown.
