Nobody can seem to forget the moment at the 89th Academy Awards earlier in 2017 when La La Land was mistakenly named best picture.
For anyone who may have missed it, a short recap: The entire cast of the musical movie approached the stage after presenter Faye Dunaway read the film’s name standing alongside a perplexed Warren Beatty. Their acceptance speeches were interrupted when it was revealed Moonlight was the actual winner, with Beatty and Dunaway having been given the envelope for the wrong category. (Watch the clip above.)
