    For the BAFTA Tea Party, Joanna Simkin lined and filled Issa Rae’s lips with CoverGirl’s Melting Pout in Evan-gel-ical, a warm pink, before applying clear gloss for extra shine. $7, at Target

  • NARS

     

    Rachel Goodwin swept lilac-pink Audacious Lipstick in Dominique ($34, at NARS, West Hollywood) across Emma Stone’s lips and cheeks to “unify the look”at the Golden Globes, then added pink lip liner (Velvet Lip Liner in El Agua; $24, at NARS).

    Kara Yoshimoto Bua painted Chanel Rouge Double Intensite Lip Colour in Shocking Pink ($37, at Saks Fifth Avenue) on Saoirse Ronan’s lips for the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The artist says that a lighter liner “gives a soft edge to intense lip hues.”
