Chelsea Handler snags her first week at No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Personalities chart, rising 4-1 on the ranking dated Nov. 1.

The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Oct. 24.

Handler, who debuted two weeks ago at No. 2 on the chart dated Oct. 18, leaps with a 216 percent increase in social media conversation, according to MVPindex (more on the reason why below).

Jake Tapper reaches a new chart peak at No. 2 (he previously bowed at No. 3 on the Oct. 18-dated ranking, his first chart week), while Tyra Banks (No. 7) and Chris Hayes (No. 10) re-enter the ranking.

A widely circulated tweet from the CNN anchor – one of Twitter’s biggest by a TV personality in the tracking week at 242,000 likes – found Tapper clapping back at Bill O’Reilly’s claim that his show’s ratings were “as low as you can go.” “’Low’ would be sexually harassing staffers and then getting fired for it – humiliated in front of the world,” Tapper tweeted. “Now THAT would be low.”

Handler spends her first week at No. 1 on the chart with social metric jumps that included an 86 percent increase in Instagram favorites, one post announcing a $1 million donation to Unidos Por Puerto Rico to assist victims of Hurricane Maria. “Where’s your donation, Donald Trump?” she asked.
