Colleen Ballinger is No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart for the fourth week in a row, followed by comedian and The Daily Show star Trevor Noah on the Aug. 1-dated list.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended July 24.

Noah reaches a new peak on the ranking by rising to No. 2, having previously bowed at No. 6 last October, and concurrently rules the Top TV Personalities chart for the first time.

Along with Noah, Roseanne Barr and Michael Ian Black re-enter the chart at Nos. 4 and 10, respectively.

Black bumps 71 percent in Twitter likes and 1,001 percent in mentions on the service. On July 21, the comedian addressed apparent efforts from “right wing Twitter” taking “offense to a bunch of jokes I’ve made over the years.” “Why now?” he tweeted. “I suspect it has something to do with me asking @dloesh all week about Russian money-laundering at the NRA, but can’t prove it.”

Thank you for opening several doors and paving the way for that next wave of comedians,” Hart wrote on Facebook July 21 about Cedric the Entertainer, who received his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. That plus posts about his stand-up stop in Toronto earned Hart a 26 percent boost in Facebook post likes.
