For the third week in a row, Colleen Ballinger is the No. 1 personality on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Comedians chart.

The Top Comedians chart is a ranking of the most popular comedians on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended July 17.

Ballinger rules the July 25-dated list over D.L. Hughley, Kathy Griffin, Ricky Gervais and Bill Maher, who round out the top five.

Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt and George Lopez are the chart’s re-entries, coming in at Nos. 6, 8 and 10, respectively.

He didn’t just call the British rescuer in Thailand a pedophile,” Nanjiani tweeted July 15 about Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who called the caver who assisted in of the rescue of a Thai youth soccer team trapped underground a pedophile after he blasted Musk’s proposal of a kid-sized submarine to save the children. “He called him a pedophile because he couldn’t imagine another reason for a white guy to be in Thailand. Which is a false assumption. Sometimes white guys visit Thailand to show off their useless submarines.” Nanjiani’s tweet was his most-liked in a week that saw him rise 55 percent in overall favorites.
