'Megyn Kelly Today' and 'Live With Kelly and Ryan' also were among the shows landing noms.
The nominations for the 45th annual Daytime Emmy Awards were unveiled Wednesday during CBS' The Talk.
CBS scored a leading 66 noms, the same as the number of mentions scored by syndicated programs.
Meanwhile, ABC's General Hospital topped the programs with a total of 26 noms, followed by NBC's Days of Our Lives and CBS' The Young and the Restless with 25 apiece. All three shows will vie for best drama series alongside another CBS soap, The Bold and the Beautiful.
Elsewhere, CBS Sunday Morning, CBS This Morning, ABC's Good Morning America and NBC's Today will compete for best morning program.
NBC's Megyn Kelly Today scored a nomination for best informative talk show, along with ABC's The Chew, Ora TV's Larry King Now and syndicated talkers The Dr. Oz Show and Steve Harvey.
Best entertainment talk show noms were given to syndicated talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Live With Kelly and Ryan and The Real along with CBS' The Talk and ABC's The View.
In the game show category, CBS' Let's Make a Deal and The Price Is Right will compete against syndicated programs Family Feud, Jeopardy! and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which presents the Daytime Emmys, previously announced that Days of Our Lives stars Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes, as well as kids show producers Sid and Marty Krofft, will be honored with this year's lifetime achievement awards.
The Kroffts will be honored at the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, and the Hayeses will be lauded for their nearly 50-year run on the soap at the Daytime Emmy Awards.
The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place Friday, April 27, while the Daytime Emmy Awards will take place Sunday, April 29. Both events will be held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. The shows will be hosted by Mario Lopez and The Talk's Sheryl Underwood. Awards in more than 70 craft and program categories will be handed out across the two ceremonies.
