Dwayne Johnson retakes the No. 1 spot on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Actors chart, rising 2-1 on the ranking dated Nov. 29 after a week behind Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown.
The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Nov. 21.
Johnson, whose latest film, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, looms on the horizon with a Dec. 20 release, is a busy man, promoting the first trailer for another upcoming film, Rampage (April 20) on Nov. 16.
Meanwhile, the Stranger Things cast continues to lead a youth movement within the chart’s top 10, with Noah Schnapp rising to a new peak of No. 3, followed by Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown at Nos. 4 and 5, respectively, plus Gaten Matarazzo at No. 8.
