Emmys: Where to Stream the Nominated Series

Some of the Television Academy's most-nominated shows are only on one platform, while others are available to view on several.

With the introduction of Peacock, HBOMax, Disney+ and Quibi all within the last year, there have perhaps never been more platforms from which to stream this year's Emmy-nominated series.

So which shows are available on which services? Some of the Emmys' most-nominated programs are only on one platform (such as Netflix's Ozark and Disney+'s The Mandalorian), while others are available to view and purchase on several (see: The Good Place and Killing Eve).

Hosted once again by Jimmy Kimmel, the 2020 Emmys are set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Viewers can watch the Emmys on ABC or stream the ceremony on Hulu+ Live TV or YouTube TV.

  • 'Better Call Saul'

    AMC's Breaking Bad spinoff series has been nominated for seven primetime Emmys, including for outstanding drama series, outstanding writing for a drama series (for two separate episodes), outstanding supporting actor in a drama series for Giancarlo Esposito, outstanding sound mixing for a comedy or drama series and outstanding sound editing for a comedy or drama series. The series can be streamed on Netflix and purchased on YouTube, iTunes, Vudu, Google Play and Amazon.

  • 'The Crown'

    The latest season of the Netflix royal drama received 13 nominations, for outstanding drama series, outstanding lead actress in a drama series (for Olivia Colman), outstanding supporting actress in a drama series (for Helena Bonham Carter), outstanding directing for a drama series, outstanding writing for a drama series, outstanding music composition for a series (original dramatic score), outstanding casting for a drama series, outstanding period and/or character hairstyling, outstanding sound editing for a comedy or drama series, outstanding cinematography for a single-camera series, outstanding production design for a narrative period or fantasy program (one hour) and outstanding period costumes. The Crown can be streamed exclusively on Netflix.

  • 'Curb Your Enthusiasm'

    The Larry David-starring comedy at HBO received four Emmy nods this year, including for outstanding comedy series, outstanding casting for a comedy series, outstanding single-camera picture editing for a comedy series and outstanding technical direction, camerawork, video control for a series. The show can be streamed on HBO Max and Hulu, Amazon Prime and YouTube TV with premium subscriptions. It can also be purchased on YouTube, iTunes, Google Play and Vudu.

  • 'Dead to Me'

    The second season of the Netflix tragicomedy is nominated for four Emmys: outstanding comedy series, best actress in a comedy series (both for Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini) and casting for a comedy series. Dead to Me streams exclusively on Netflix.

  • 'The Good Place'

    The oft-nominated afterlife comedy at NBC landed nods this year for outstanding comedy series, writing for a comedy series, outstanding lead actor in a comedy series (for Ted Danson), outstanding supporting actor for a comedy series (for William Jackson Harper), outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series (for D'Arcy Carden) and outstanding guest actress in a comedy series (for Maya Rudolph).     Hulu's adaptation of Margaret Atwood's classic dystopian novel has once again been nominated widely, capturing 10 nods.     Issa Rae and HBO's half-hour, Los Angeles-centric comedy hauled in eight Emmy nominations in 2020 including outstanding comedy series, outstanding lead actress in a comedy series (Issa Rae), outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series (Yvonne Orji), outstanding casting for a comedy series, outstanding cinematography for a single-camera series (half-hour and twice nominated), outstanding single-camera picture editing for a comedy series and outstanding music supervision.   • 'Killing Eve'

  • 'The Kominsky Method'

  • 'Little Fires Everywhere'

    Hulu's starry adaptation of Celeste Ng's 2017 bestselling novel has been nominated for five Emmys for outstanding limited series; lead actress in a limited series or movie (Kerry Washington); directing for a limited series, movie or dramatic special; music composition for a limited series, movie or special (original dramatic score); and original music and lyrics.   • 'The Mandalorian'

  • 'Unorthodox'

    Netflix's adaptation of Deborah Feldman's 2012 memoir Unorthodox: The Scandalous Rejection of My Hasidic Roots was nominated for eight Emmys.
