Golden Globes: Watch the Trailers for the Best Motion Picture, Drama Nominees

Two music-centric films — 'A Star Is Born' and 'Bohemian Rhapsody' — earned noms in the drama category.

The Golden Globes announced its five nominees best motion picture, drama on Thursday morning.

All five of the films nominated for best motion picture, drama hold nominations in other categories. A Star Is Born leads this pack with five total noms, followed by BlacKkKlansman's four. Meanwhile, Black Panther and If Beale Street Could Talk have three apiece, and Bohemian Rhapsody two.

  • 'Black Panther'

    Black Panther joined the ranks of Deadpool as the only two live-action superhero movies to score a best-picture nomination in Globes' history.

  • 'BlacKkKlansman'

    Adam Driver and John David Washington also earned acting nods for their roles in BlacKkKlansman, which tells the true story of how a black police detective infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan.

  • 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

    Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born are both up for the top honor in the drama category despite being music-centric films.

  • 'If Beale Street Could Talk'

    Barry Jenkins' follow-up to the Oscar-winning Moonlight received three total noms, including a best screenplay nod for Jenkins.

  • 'A Star Is Born'

    A Star Is Born grabbed five noms total, including two for Bradley Cooper's acting and directing.
