Dwayne Johnson’s appearance at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards helps him retain the No. 1 spot on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top Actors chart for an eighth week in a row, ruling at the top of the ranking dated Jan. 17.

The Top Actors chart is a ranking of the most popular actors on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. The latest tracking week ended Jan. 9.

Johnson is followed by multiple re-entries into the top 10 of the chart, led by Emma Watson, who makes only her second chart appearance (and first since August) by re-entering the Top Actors tally at No. 3.

Meanwhile, Dove Cameron (No. 11) and Gaten Matarazzo (No. 8) also re-enter the top 10 after having charted there previously, though both appeared on the Jan. 10-dated chart as well, having ranked at Nos. 11 and 20, respectively.

See the top 10 below (and for the full 25-position ranking, pick up the THR issue dated Jan. 17), and for more charts on The Hollywood Reporter, check out the Top Comedians and Top TV Personalities charts.
