After relenting the No. 1 spot for two weeks, Gordon Ramsay returns to the peak of The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Personalities chart, jumping 4-1 to lead the chart (dated Sept. 20) for a fourth week in all.

The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart’s methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Sept. 12.

Meanwhile, Anderson Cooper re-enters the chart for the first time since early August, bowing at No. 8 following his coverage of Hurricane Irma in South Florida.

Small – but effective – jumps in nearly all social media metrics (up 3 percent in overall reach, 9 percent in engagement and 8 percent in conversation) helps Ramsay back to No. 1. A big part of his jump in Twitter metrics (including 146,000 likes) came from his traditional roasting of dishes sent to him via Twitter from amateur cooks.
