Jimmy Fallon’s post about BTS member Jimin’s new solo music sends the Tonight Show host to No. 1 on The Hollywood Reporter’s Top TV Personalities chart dated Jan. 9.

The Top TV Personalities chart is a ranking of the most popular TV personalities on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Google Plus, with global data provided by social media analytics company MVPindex. The chart's methodology blends social engagement on the platforms along with weekly additions of followers/subscribers. TV personalities are defined here as performers primarily known for their appearances on their own TV series, including hosts of entertainment/news shows. The latest tracking week ended Jan. 1.

Fallon rises 6-1 on the latest list, marking his first week at No. 1 since October; it’s his eighth week atop the ranking in all.

The NBC personality leapfrogs Jonathan Van Ness, who remains at No. 2, to take over the top spot. Additionally, Antoni Porowski, Steve Harvey and Andy Richter re-enter the chart, while The Great American Baking Show co-host Anthony Adams reaches the tally for the first time.
